Of the total of 140 FaF members, 64 of them found their way to the Kiermeir Inn in Arzbach for the annual general meeting of the Friends of Old Vehicles Dachau eV. After the welcome, the friends present were reminded by the first chairman, Karl Goeb, of the FaF activities in 2011. These included: two trips, the 58th and 59th!!, a wonderful castle and palace tour, 12 club evenings held, 18 greeting cards created and presented for special birthdays, two board meetings arranged and held, participation in various events and so on and so forth.

Slow speed ahead
The district-wide classic car club Friends of Old Vehicles invited people to its 59th autumn trip through the Dachau hinterland on Sunday, September 11, 2011. The classic car enthusiasts met with their guests and their old but beautifully spruced-up motorcycles (21), sidecars (5) and cars (65) from 8:00 a.m. in the parking lot of the KAUFLAND shopping center in Dachau-Ost. Here, car enthusiasts and fans were able to admire the old vehicles up close, and the trip left at around 10:30 a.m. This time, there was an engraved golden ballpoint pen as a souvenir as a thank you. Lothar's snack stand was set up again for spectators and participants, and he served us very well - after all, we didn't want to neglect our physical well-being. The weather couldn't have been better, as the temperature had almost reached 30 degrees. This time the route leads to the district of Aichach-Friedberg to Untergrießbach to the Gasthaus Wagner, with whose hospitality we were more than satisfied. Only one had to be towed to Puchheim!
