Internal spring excursion on May 15, 2022

Our first chairman Michael Volkmann has agreed with the board of directors and members on a donation to support Ukraine aid.

€1,300 will be donated from the club's coffers. €10 per member. The sum was split and our treasurer Conny transferred €650 to ARD/Emergency Aid: Help for people in Ukraine. €650 will go to the "Nurses for Ivano Frankivsk" project.

Our route manager Erich planned 65 kilometers and included a "second liquid breakfast", which took place after half an hour in the Hundtsche forestry administration car park in Unterweikertshofen. So everyone was satisfied and everything went well at this internal outing of the friends of old vehicles in spring 2022.

Police appeal via OCC to classic car enthusiasts - Does this Audi have anything to do with a murder case?

A vintage Audi 100 Coupé was found in a reservoir in Tännesberg in the Neustadt an der Waldnaab district. There is now increasing evidence that a serious crime is behind the operation. According to initial police findings, a schoolgirl also disappeared without a trace during the period when the vehicle was sunk. Police Chief Inspector Tobias Wirth: "We are hoping for information from all over Germany about anyone who knows anything about the vehicle. Perhaps vintage car enthusiasts who remember who owned or sold the vehicle can also help. Every detail can be important for our investigations."What secret lies behind this old Audi 100 Coupé S? During renovation work on a reservoir in Upper Palatinate, workers discovered the vehicle at a depth of three and a half meters. When divers from the riot police recovered the wreckage, the next surprise followed. The license plate was still on the car.

Invitation to the autumn outing of the friends of old vehicles on 11.09.2022

"Pack mas" again, for the now 76th outing on Sunday, September 11, 2022. The meeting point is, as always, the parking lot at KAUFLAND in Dachau-Ost. The vehicles arrive around 8:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. After a break of almost two years, we can drive our old motorcycles and automobiles on this public outing. Our route manager Erich has called the upcoming trip "a leisurely ride through the Dachau hinterland", so that smaller snoopers will definitely "come along". Lunch is provided. We hope that the nice weather continues. Simply register on site. Have a nice trip.

New start of the club evenings on Wednesday, April 13, 2022 - SUCCESSFUL

We're daring to do it again after a long dry spell and are meeting at the usual time in our club restaurant Kiermeir in Arzbach. For the first club evening in the new year. See also under dates. After long months of waiting for better C times, we're now going to continue with petrol talks and new information about our wonderful hobby... the only real virus is the one that makes our hearts beat faster for old cars and motorcycles, right?

The next club evening is Wednesday, July 13, 2022.

Start into spring

It's that time again. The season has started and you can finally get your favorite car out of hibernation in the barn. Winter was a total disaster and we hope that summer will be what you expect of a real summer. The last few days and especially March have looked pretty good. And the rising temperatures are making the oldie feeling blossom. As is the case with this FIAT Neckar 1100, built in 1969. Admittedly, this oldie is pretty spartan - no frills, no height-adjustable frills. Purely driving for the joy of it with this oldie.
